Staff who sign in get a session cookie, needed to keep them signed in.

The door check-in tool stores the chosen event and any unconfirmed scans on the staff device (local storage), so a weak signal loses nothing.

Payment pages are hosted by Stripe, which sets its own cookies (see Stripe’s policy).
